Fundraise to support our research

We’ve lots of great ideas for fundraising at home, work, school, in your local community or further afield. Or maybe you'd like to join one of our challenge events?

Not every occasion has to be a celebration. Coffee mornings, tea parties and bake-ins are all great and community spirited ways of raising money. You can set up your fundraising page online via either Virgin Money Giving or Just Giving. It will cost you nothing, is very simple to set up and all gift aid will be collected by the giving pages.

No matter what you do, one thing is certain – the money you raise will help fund more pioneering research in our scientific laboratories in the UK.

Looking for inspiration? Here are some event ideas to get you started…

Fundraising with friends and family

Garden party

Invite guests to visit your garden for afternoon tea, even host a raffle and organise some fun outdoor games such as "name that plant."

Fundraising with colleagues

Bake sale

Set up a bake sale and ask colleagues to bring in a selection of sweet treats.

Set up a physical challenge

Walks, aerobics, cycling, running, even doing a parachute jump!  There are so many fun and exhilarating ways for all levels of fitness.
