Sir Michael Lockett features on "Trust me I'm a Doctor"
The episode, which was first shown on Wednesday 29th July 2015 on BBC2’s “Trust me I’m a Doctor” features Oracle Board Member Sir Michael Lockett who was treated successfully for stage IV throat cancer using an experimental virus therapy. Professor Kevin Harrington, who manages several pioneering research projects funded by Oracle Cancer Trust and is one of the leading researchers at The Institute of Cancer Research, was treating Michael, with the treatment resulting in a very positive outcome.
