Our 8th Annual Charity Golf Day was held on the 28th September at Burhill Golf Club in Surrey. The 18 teams enjoyed the challenging New Course and we were fortunate to have a mild Autumn day with light winds for perfect playing conditions.
Congratulations to individual winner Alex Collins who scored a huge 45 points to win the Claret Jug and to team winners “Tradition Troupers”. The final winning teams with scores can be accessed here.
We are grateful to Adrian from GolfScoreLive for providing such a great service with the live scoring on the day and to Leo The Photographer who generously donated his time for the day taking some fabulous shots for us both on-course and at the entertainment with the hilarious Aaron James.
Players enjoyed a number of fun competitions on the course including “Beat the Lady Pro”, “Shark Attack” chipping competition, longest drive and two nearest the pin prizes. We are extremely grateful to our sponsors and supporters for the day including IT Experts WeSeeNow, Grange Hotels, Prestige Cars and Couriers, Perfectly Attired and Tradition Data plus all the individuals who kindly donated prizes for the auction.
We are delighted that the event raised in excess of £5,000 to support our vital research programmes into head and neck cancer. We are currently planning our 2018 golf day and will announce details soon! Please click on the picture below to access the full gallery for the day.
