Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma patient tells her story

Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC) is a very rare and hard to treat head and neck cancer that mainly affects females. Belinda Charlton-Gilfoyle told her story recently to Sunday magazine about the struggle to get a diagnosis for her persistent and excruciating facial pain.

Oracle are funding a four year PhD research project under the supervision of Dr Amanda Swain to understand ACC and discover new treatments to support patients like Belinda.
