Autumn newsletter out now

Welcome to our Autumn 2021 newsletter

Our newsletter is out now - we have a bumper edition packed with news stories from our supporters who've been taking on challenges this year including a very special family from Scotland who've raised over £28,000 in memory of Michael Gillespie.

We have plenty of news to share with you – not least about new clinical trials underway, developments in research and some incredible feats of endurance taken on in the name of fundraising. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported them and the charity in the past 18 months. We face a steep challenge to recover from the impact of lockdowns and restrictions on our fundraising and hope that you will get behind us with support this Christmas as we aim to raise £75,000 to enable moving forward with research into better diagnosis and treatments. We are marking the festive season in a big way:

Our beloved Glory of Christmas Concert is returning this year at the new venue of St Paul’s, Knightsbridge on Wednesday 8th December at 7pm. We will also be livestreaming the event so you can join us from home too. We are also selling Oracle charity Christmas cards this year, please visit our shop, email us or call the team on 020 3875 8991 if you’d like more details or place an order.

We’ve also set up a short survey so we can understand patients’ experiences of being diagnosed and treated for head and neck cancer. Your help completing the survey could help shape our research priorities in the coming years. The survey is open until Monday 8th December.

If you have any feedback about our newsletter or would like to share your treatment journey with our supporters please don't hesitate to get in touch.
