Oracle Cancer Trust is delighted to announce that the charity is joining forces with Oxford-based head and neck cancer research charity Heads Up
Friday 9th June 2017
Heads Up was founded ten years ago with the sole aim of funding research into head and neck cancer. During this time it has acted as a pathway for raising funds, mostly from the Thames Valley region from a core group of supporters who generously support the charity throughout the year. The charity is currently run by surgeon Stuart Winter who joins Oracle Cancer Trust as Honorary Trustee and member of the research committee. Volunteer Ray Derkacz has kindly stepped forward to assume responsibility as Fundraising Co-ordinator for the Thames Valley region.
The collaboration of Heads Up and Oracle has been a hugely exciting opportunity for increasing the amount of research into head and neck cancer. The synergy of the two organisations will increase the range and size of projects that can be funded and promote closer collaborations between those treating this condition.
A launch event will be held in Oxford in September and we will be sharing further information about the event in due course.
