The HPV Coalition has now launched “Roadmap towards making the elimination of all HPV-related cancers a reality across the UK”.

HPV will affect 80% of us at some point in our lifetimes and is the main cause in a range of cancers in both men and women, including cervical, anal, vaginal, vulval, penile and Head and Neck cancers. These cancers are preventable. However, the UK has yet to take the step of other countries, like Australia and Canada, in developing an action plan for the elimination of all HPV-related cancers.

The HPV Coalition, of which Oracle Cancer Trust is a proud member, has published its Roadmap towards making the elimination of all HPV-related cancers a reality across the UK, which outlines our recommendations to the Governments of the UK which we believe must be implemented to achieve the milestone of elimination.

Every year the UK neglects to commit to the elimination of HPV-related cancers, is another year where people and families will be affected by these preventable diseases: we must take meaningful action now. As part of the Coalition, we look forward to working with the Governments across the UK to achieve the of elimination of HPV-related cancers.
